Thank you for visiting Wye Mountain Flowers and Berries, we hope you have a wonderful morning picking delicious fresh berries.

We are so glad that you came.

  1. *The berries are sold by the level container.  Buckets with liners are provided or new this year, vented buckets will be available for you to purchase and reuse.

  2. *This is a working farm and though we try to make it as safe as possible, please be careful and keep your precious children close by you. There a many opportunities for kids to learn about raising food, flowers, chickens and more so take your time and let them explore. Please, go only in the common farm areas and not where machinery and other equipment are stored. Well behaved children are always welcome. We love little ones but do not want to babysit.

A few suggestions to make your visit more enjoyable:

Wear sun protection like a hat and/or sunscreen. You may want to use bug spray.  As we were told, when we first moved to the mountain, “There isn’t a single tick on the mountain. They’re all happily married and have multitudes of children.”

Wear closed toe shoes. The walkways are mowed but you never know when a stray weed (or worse) may try to poke you.

Drink plenty of water. If you forgot it we have bottled water available to purchase. Please don’t drink the well water. It is fine for the plants but has not been tested for humans. If you begin to feel too hot, please take a break and join us in the shade of the big trees.

No smoking and no pets are allowed on the farm. If you did happen to bring your pet, sorry but they must stay in your vehicle. We cannot accept the responsibility of a good dog biting anyone. Plus we have a sweet old dog who thinks all berry pickers have really come to visit her.

Please be aware that you may encounter stinging insects. If you are allergic be extra cautious and bring an epi-pin or other medication.

We’re now open for berry picking. The first couple weeks we may have to close from time to time to allow the berries to ripen. Please call 501-330-1906 for more picking information or check us out on facebook.com/wyemountain for more info.

We furnish gallon buckets with plastic liners for your convienence. If you would like to purchase your own bucket they are $1.50 each.

We alsosuggest bringing a cooler to take your home your delicious.

Please be aware that we may have to close from time to time if we should happen to pick out or some other unforseen reason.

Keep checking back here or on our Facebook/wyemountain page for updates.
